Pengaruh Ekspresi Pertumbuhan Generatif Terhadap Krisan (Chrysanthemum morifolium) Potong Tipe Spray Akibat Pencahayaan Buatan

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Tanaman krisan (Chrysanthemum morifolium) merupakan bunga potong yang sangat digemari oleh masyarakat Indonesia karena memiliki berbagai bentuk kelopak dan warna yang menarik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari respon pertumbuhan dan pembungaan tanaman krisan potong tipe spray melalui pemberian cahaya tambahan LED 9 watt dan CLF 20 watt selama fase hari panjang tanaman krisan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di rumah plastik pada bulan Januari hingga Maret 2023 di Desa Semanding, Kecamatan Tutur, Kabupaten Pasuruan, provinsi Jawa Timur dengan ketinggian 1200 mdpl. Lampu LED (9 watt) memberikan pengaruh pada panjang tangkai yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan CLF (20 watt) pada krisan potong tipe spray. Tetapi tidak menunjukkan ekspresi yang berbeda pada variabel jumlah daun, luas daun, indeks klorofil, diameter bunga, diameter batang,  jumlah total bunga, jumlah bunga mekar, jumlah kuncup bunga, dan vase life. Penyinaran menggunakan LED 9 watt menunjukkan tinggi tanaman dengan 7,37% lebih besar dari CLF 20 watt, meskipun pada dua perlakuan menunjukkan tanaman krisan potong yang telah mencapai Standar Nasional Indonesia.                                                                               

ABSTRACT

Chrysanthemum morifolium is a cut flower that is very popular in Indonesia because it has various shapes of petals and attractive colors. This study aimed to study the growth and flowering response of spray-type cut chrysanthemum plants by providing additional light of 9-watt LED and 20-watt CLF during the long day phase of chrysanthemum plants. This activity was carried out in a plastic house from January to March 2023 in Semanding Village, Tutur District, Pasuruan Regency, East Java province with an altitude of 1200 meters asl. LED light (9 watts) had a higher effect on stalk length compared to CLF (20 watts) on spray-type cut chrysanthemums. But it did not show different expressions for the variables number of leaves, leaf area, chlorophyll index, flower diameter, stem diameter, total number of flowers, number of blooms, number of flower buds, and vase life. Illumination using a 9 watt LED showed plant height 7.37% greater than CLF 20 watts, although the two treatments showed cut chrysanthemum plants that had reached the Indonesian National Standard.
