Abstract

Penggunaan pupuk anorganik secara berlebihan meninggalkan residu di dalam tanah sehingga dapat menurunkan kualitas tanah. Kombinasi pupuk anorganik dan pupuk organik dapat mengurangi dampak negatif akibat penggunaan pupuk anorganik serta dapat memperbaiki kualitas tanah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2022 hingga Februari 2023 di Agrotechnopark Jatikerto, Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 10 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan sehingga terdapat 30 satuan percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan KCl 75% + 15 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam meningkatkan panjang tanaman, luas daun, berat kering tanaman, diameter tongkol, total padatan terlarut, bobot segar tongkol dengan kelobot, bobot segar tongkol tanpa kelobot dan bobot tongkol per hektar. Perlakuan KCl 75% + 15 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam menunjukkan hasil yang tidak berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan KCl 250 kg ha-1 sehingga penambahan pupuk kandang dapat mengurangi penggunakan pupuk KCl. Hasil analisis R/C ratio menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan KCl 75% + 15 ton ha-1 menunjukkan nilai R/C ratio 1,40 sehingga usahatani jagung manis menggunakan perlakuan tersebut menguntungkan.
